"Let's Cook Up Some Quilts"
The Piney Patch Quilter's Club is a
group of quilters at all skill levels, where members
gather to socialize and share. First we have refreshments and
socialize.
Next comes Show & Tell where we show off and discuss our projects
from last month. There's always something new to learn and
share. Then comes introduction of the next project with
samples made by the Piney Patch Crew and then our favorite part...a
demo by well known needle artist, pattern designer and quilt
teacher, Jeanine Gonzalez.
Each month a new, complete project is
introduced and members have plenty of time to shop and select the
fabrics and trimmings for their own project kit. Each kit will
contain everything needed to complete the project for the month. Members purchase
their kits from Piney Patch, at a
special rate and also receive a discount on any additional purchases
they make on Club meeting day. Meetings are fun and casual, and
everyone always has a great time.
The Piney Patch Quilter's Club meets
the 2nd Friday of each month @ Beverly Hills Community Building, 1
Civic Circle, Beverly Hills, Florida.
Space is limited, so please direct any questions about membership to
linda@pineypatch.com.

Project # 6 Notebook Covers
Here we "grow" again. In March
we welcomed 5 new members, Roberta, Jan, Deborah, Becky, and
Barbara. Welcome ladies. Retro Aprons and Kitchen Quilts were
introduced for April and Jeanine did a demo on the Notebook Covers
(photos are coming!). You can tell from these photos that
"Raspberry Crepes" is a big hit!
Elaine
used an alternate binding technique. Nice job! |
Peggy,
I love your choice for the binding. |
Caroline
picked these fabrics from several different collections.
Don't you love how nicely they go together?
|
Sharlee
adjusted the size to make it just right for her table. |
Ella
loved the fabrics used in the sample, but made hers in the
Table Topper size. |
Joanne picked a kit from another
project, added a fat quarter or two, and turned out a Table
Runner and Place Mats! |
